This is an update to the – GPU’s, Covid-19 ‘n Chinese GPU miners meet ‘da – Law of Supply and Demand post.

New is at least $499.99 now…used is at least $429.99!?! Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 Ti OC 4GB GDDR5 128 Bit PCI-E Graphic Card (GV-N105TOC-4GD).

I paid $239.95 for a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GPU 1-fan on 2/08/2021 (2 months ago!?) and they shipped the 2-fan one for some reason.

I mean, the GPU is OK for an old GPU, and it is economical to run; however, it isn’t worth over $150, IMHO. It is faster than Intel’s integrated UHD Graphics 630, so I guess if you get a CPU w/o graphics you would need to pay another $500 for a entry level GPU. Personally, I would buy the CPU w/ integrated graphics.

LINUX IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES – you never know what you’re gonna get!
