Good luck wid that! The simple fact is, a majority of Desktop/Laptop users don’t want a Linux ‘Nanny standing over their shoulders ‘n throwing annoying “Authenticate” popups at them whilst she is also demanding pestering ‘Pesky Passwords’.

  • Fuk!?! Put down the mouse ‘n move to the keyboard ‘n type in the ‘Pesky Password‘. Talk about workflow ‘Killers‘!!! OK…now leave the keyboard ‘n go back to the mouse.

Want more users, then take a cue from Android ‘n Chrome OS!

Zorin OS 16 Education

Downloaded the Zorin-OS-16-Education-64-bit.iso @ 5.12 GBs (GNOME version), created a ‘Live’ USB wid balenaEtcher, and easily installed it to a 120 GB test SSD.

Booted into the newly installed OS, and was soon being greeted wid annoying “Authenticate” popups.

  • Fuk!?! Put down the mouse ‘n move to the keyboard ‘n type in the ‘Pesky Password‘. Talk about workflow ‘Killers‘!!! OK…now leave the keyboard ‘n go back to the mouse.

I do like the way Zorin OS makes GNOME user friendly:

Giving GNOME that Windows or Cinnamon or KDE Plasma look!

Easy Nvidia driver setup.

Here’s the About:

Conclusion

Great little OS, but too bad they don’t offer an opt out of the annoying “Authenticate” popups ‘n ‘Pesky Passwords’.

Get rid of the Enterprise OS mentality if you want normal Desktop/laptop users, i.e. “normal people” as Linus Torvalds describes them.

LINUX IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES – you never know what you’re gonna get!
