KDE Plasma – ‘Newb TidBits‘

Contrary to the belief of many, a noob/n00b and a newbie/newb are not the same thing. Newbs are those who are new to some task* and are very beginner at it, possibly a little overconfident about it, but they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage. n00bs, on the other hand, know little and have no will to learn any more. They expect people to do the work for them and then expect to get praised about it, and make up a unique species of their own.

KDE Plasma has become too popular for me to make any more excuses on why I stay away from it. I will address my previous ‘Three Reasons‘ on why I wanted to avoid it in a ???-Part series. Will also add reviews on Linux OSes wid Plasma Desktops that I have tested ‘n liked.

10/13/2022 NOTE & Update: Was still learning the processes of KDE Plasma when this Page was started, so some info is different now. For example, when adding an application to the Panel I have now found that “Pin to Task Manager” option works better than the “Add to Panel (Widget)” option.
