Office Suites ‘n Word Processors

Have been searching for a Word Processor to replace MS Office Word; however, 99% of Word Processors seem to come with an entire Office Suite, which is OK, but I only really need ‘n use the Word Processor. Microsoft Office is great, but they treat software owners who have purchased a product like MS Office Suite as if they are thieves when that owner re-installs onto a new computer. I have purchased five MS Office products ‘n own seven legal licenses from those purchases (one came w/ three licenses), but have grown tired of the hassle to renew those licenses.
